Tomcat Trikes
We had a fantastic demonstration day with Tomcat Trikes today. Two successful client assessments took place with our Occupational Therapist, and multiple professionals from other organisations came to learn more about the specialist cycling options.
Have a look at some of the brilliant products available below.
Pictured left, one of our clients who was referred for an assessment by Chippenham Borough Lands. He had a brilliant experience with the electric power assisted trike, and we can't wait to hear how he gets on when he buys his own. (Picture shared with permission)
Video below: our Administrator Aimee trying out the manual trike. She couldn't believe how comfortable the seat was!
Video below: our Occupational Therapist Chris, and Centre Assistant Richard, on the Fun2Go side by side trike. This allows two people to sit side by side, while only one person steers. We aren't sure Chris had much faith in Richard driving though - turn on the sound to hear!
Video below: Aimee trying out the Rotor Bullet, a hand-propelled trike designed for people with limited or no use of their legs.
Video below: our Chief Executive Chantelle, with Aimee, demonstrating the Opair trike. This bike has a detachable wheelchair at the front, making it easy to park up and go inside with just the wheelchair, leaving the main bike frame safely outside.
Video below: Richard and Chantelle testing the VeloPlus wheelchair transporter trike. This allows wheelchair users to enjoy a bike ride outdoors while remaining in their own chair.
