Support for Professionals

Are you an Adult Social Care or NHS professional working with service users living in Wiltshire or Bath & North East Somerset? See the options below to find out how the ILC can support you and your patients.

Make a Referral

Although you can advise clients to self refer, it is helpful for us to have as much information as possible about any input you may have already had, and any background information we may need to know.

We therefore request you complete this referral form and email it to us at ILCSemington@gmail.com.

Your client will then be automatically added to our waiting list, and contacted in due course.

Use our Centre

Our Centre can be used for manual handling training courses (see our Training Room page for pricing).

Review your practical knowledge by trying out equipment free of charge with your colleagues.
Book tours with our OTA for new starters, or to refresh your knowledge of our service.

Arrange to meet your own patient here to complete your own assessment using our equipment.

Information Requests

Our OT Team are great at finding equipment solutions to straightforward or uncommon difficulties your patients might be facing. We can also investigate different options if you need an item which doesn't fit within the standard specifications, e.g. bariatric equipment.

Please email at ILCSemington@gmail.com with the details of your client and the difficulty they are having, or the type of equipment you've recommended they need, and we'll look into the options available for you to review before sharing with your patient.

Training Opportunities

Throughout each year we offer Equipment Demonstrations, Study Days, and OT Forums which are free for relevant professionals to attend.
