We're really pleased to finally have our new signs up, inside and outside, giving us a fresh new look, and showcasing all of the organisations that now call the Independent Living Centre home.

Our Occupational Therapist Chris and Centre Assistant Richard spent some time enjoying the sunshine today at our amazing new accessible picnic benches, with a couple of drinks from our recently installed vending machines!

Visitors to our centre can now enjoy hot or cold drinks and snacks thanks to our fantastic new vending machines!

The ILC team have been getting out and about to lots of events recently. Here are just a few highlights:

Yesterday brought a bit of a change of pace for the team as we had the pleasure of hosting 12 Occupational Therapy students from Bournemouth University for the day. It was fantastic to introduce them to the wide range of equipment available and give them a glimpse into the kind of practical, person-centred work they’ll be able to do once they qualify as Occupational Therapists. A big thank you to both groups for your enthusiasm throughout the day, we loved having you with us!
