Wheelchair Hire

We are pleased to be able to offer wheelchair hire again for short-term use.

Some of the wheelchairs available for hire

We have wheelchairs suitable for both adults and children. Please note that we do not currently have leg raisers available, so these chairs are not suitable if you have been advised to keep your leg elevated.

There is no fixed charge for hire. We ask for a £20 cash deposit, which is refundable on return of the wheelchair.

When the wheelchair is returned, we invite you to make a donation towards the centre. This helps us continue supporting our community and offering services like this. Some people choose to donate their deposit, while others give what they can - every contribution makes a difference, and no one will be unable to access the service due to cost.

Please note that we require at least 48 hours’ notice for all hire requests. This ensures a wheelchair-trained member of staff is available to review your needs and confirm that a suitable wheelchair is in stock.
